There are several ways to treat genital warts. Once someone has contracted genital warts they must be treated. One effective way is with a homeopathic warts medicine called Wartrol. There is another medicine called Podophyllin that must be put on by medical personnel. This is a brown liquid that will stop the warts from growing. The area that has been treated must be washed off about four hours after wards; unless the irritation becomes unbearable before that and then should be washed off sooner. This treatment will have to be repeated several times to treat the genital warts.

Another way to effectively treat Genital Warts is called cryotherapy. This is a procedure that must be done in a physician’s office. This form of Genital Wart treatment must be done by a medical professional because of the risk involved. The doctor performs a therapy to freeze the warts and it must be done safely to keep the surrounding tissue safe. This procedure could cause some discomfort. The cryotherapy would need to be completed every one to three weeks, until the genital warts are gone. You should only have to get this done for a short period of time. These are just two ways to treat genital warts. Everyone should use a treatment that is best for them. Consult your doctor.
